Dr Jason Abbott is Professor of obstetrics and gynaecology at the University of New South Wales and Clinical Director of the Ainsworth Endometriosis Research Institute. He has published more than 260 peer-reviewed publications, has supervised more than 40 students through higher research degrees and garnered more than $75million in research funding. He is the chair of the National Endometriosis Clinical and Scientific Trials (NECST) Network, Australia is a member of the Endometriosis advisory group to the Australian government, So chaired the Clinical Care Standards on Heavy Menstrual Bleeding.
