Dr Shih-Ern Yao is a consultant gynaecologic oncologist with a public appointment at Monash Health and private practice based out of south-east Melbourne. He undertook his CGO training in units in Melbourne, Brisbane and London and continues to be heavily involved in subspecialty training and governance through his role on the RANZCOG CGO Subspeciality Committee as an early career representative. Originally from Perth, he is very much looking forward to returning ‘home’ for ASGO 2025 and thanks the organising committee for their invitation to speak at the Fellow’s Day and Advanced Surgery session.
