Dr Jim Tsaltas is a Past President of AGES. He is head of gynaecological endoscopy and endometriosis surgery at Monash Health. He is also an immediate past board member of the ISGE and an infertility specialist with Melbourne IVF.
His main surgical interest is advanced laparoscopic surgery in particular the management of deep infiltrative and colorectal endometriosis. He has presented and published widely in this area. His other main research interest is the impact of severe endometriosis on IVF outcomes. With the rest of his department he runs an active fellowship program in advanced laparoscopic surgery.
