Dr. Supuni Kapurubandara is the Director of Westmead AGES unit, specialising in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery. Awarded the prestigious AGES Travelling Fellowship, she trained in vaginal natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (vNOTES), pioneering its introduction to Australia and New Zealand in 2019. Dr. Kapurubandara remains deeply engaged in training, education, and promoting the safe adoption of vNOTES both nationally and internationally. As a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney, she combines research with clinical improvement.
