An AGES-trained (2016) specialist gynaecologist and senior lecturer at Sydney University, currently pursuing a PhD at UNSW focused on pelvic pain. An early adopter of vNOTES in Australia, she has long championed minimally access gynaecological surgery and now has expanded to robotic surgery. Building on her leadership history as an AGES trainee board member (2015–2016), Dr Kapurubandara now chairs the AGES Pelvic Floor Special Interest Group. A regular invited speaker at national and international conferences, she remains deeply committed to surgical education, research, and improving care.
